Doctor-led · one athlete at a time

See the line back before you book it.

Most clinics promise. We measure. Choose your injury below and operate the goniometer — the same instrument we lay on your joint on day one — to watch your range of motion open, phase by phase, on the timeline a physical therapist would actually build for you.

No obligation, no upsell — the first visit is a full 60-minute assessment. Nothing moves until you do.

01 — What we treat

The injuries athletes actually walk in with.

Orthopedic and sports caseload, post-surgical and conservative. If it moves you, we rehab it.

  • KneeACL / meniscus reconstruction, patellofemoral pain, runner's knee9–12 mo
  • ShoulderRotator cuff repair, labral tears, impingement, throwing shoulder4–6 mo
  • Ankle / FootAchilles repair & tendinopathy, high & lateral sprains, plantar fascia6 wk–6 mo
  • Hip / ThighHamstring & groin strains, hip labrum, gluteal tendinopathy6–14 wk
  • SpineLumbar disc & facet, sciatica, return-to-lifting, endurance back pain8–16 wk
  • EnduranceRunning gait, stress fractures, load management, cadence retrainingOngoing

02 — The method

Four phases. One measured line back.

Every athlete gets the same discipline: we don't advance a phase on a hunch — we advance it on a number that clears the criteria.

  1. Protect & baseline

We goniometer the joint, dynamometer the muscle, and film the movement — a hard baseline. Calm the tissue, restore the basics, protect the repair.

Exit gate · pain-free at rest, effusion controlled
  2. Restore motion

Open the range back to symmetry with the healthy side. Motion is the currency of every later phase, so we win it early and defend it.

Exit gate · ≥ 90% range vs. uninvolved limb
  3. Build load & strength

Progressive, measured loading — tendons and muscle rebuilt to the demands of your actual sport, tested against your other limb every step.

Exit gate · limb symmetry index ≥ 90%
  4. Return to sport

Hop tests, cutting, sprint mechanics, and sport-specific drills under fatigue. You leave with a passed battery, not a shrug and a date.

Exit gate · return-to-sport battery cleared

03 — Who treats you

Dr. Priya Raman, PT, DPT

Board-certified in Orthopaedics (OCS) & Sports (SCS) · Founder

Priya spent nine seasons as a physical therapist for collegiate and pro endurance athletes before opening Kestrel so she could do it the way she always wanted: one athlete, one hour, one plan. No techs running your session while she charts across the room. The clinician who tests you is the clinician who treats you — every visit.

Two surgeons told me my racing was over. Priya put a number on every week instead of a maybe — and eleven months later I finished the Cascade 50 on the same knee.
