Indie game studio · est. 2019

Tiny worlds, big feelings.

This is Maru, our studio blob. It follows your cursor, blinks when it thinks, and does a happy bounce if you let it catch you. Everything down there is clickable — go on, boing something.

The studio

Nine humans, one dog,
no crunch.

Maru Station started in 2019 in a flat above a laundromat in Rotterdam, when three friends quit their jobs to make “a game the size of a good sandwich.” That game was Pufflings. We're nine people now — animators, composers, one very patient producer — and we still measure scope in sandwiches. Small enough to hold. Filling enough to remember.
